The past week has been full of maintenance projects around the property, with plenty of time spent organizing building supplies to keep everything running smoothly.
Out in the patch, we’ve started clearing the potato bed to prepare for harvest.
Meanwhile, another round of strawberries has gone into the ground—succession planting is all about thinking ahead, and this should set us up nicely for next season!
Winter vegetable seedlings are also coming along, with sowing and pricking out in full swing. Now we’re just hoping for some cooler weather so we can start planting them out.
Our homeschool group gathered this week, and the kids got hands-on making wooden garden trugs—a fun and practical project!
Freezer Restocked!
Good news for those who love high-quality local beef! Our freezer is now fully stocked with the finest cuts from Old Township Road. Let me know if you’d like the list, and I’ll get back to you with what’s available.
